A Visual Merchandiser plans, develops and displays merchandise visually in order to create and maintain an interest of the target market and promote sales.

This qualification is for any individual who is or wishes to be employed in the retail industry as any of the following:

• Visual merchandiser
• Window dresser

The occupational tasks are:

• Develop and implement visual merchandising plans.
• Merchandise stock visually.
• Maintain and evaluate visual merchandising displays.
